Meeting Style and Formats

To give you and idea of the type of meetings and training we have at both NJ and PA EMCA’s listed here are some of the meeting topics we have already had.
In addition to the varied meeting topics we also have several different meeting formats or styles. This depends on several factors including material being covered, size and type of presentation and preference of meeting host.

We do at times have a classroom setting with industry speakers providing video and powerpoint presentations and printed handouts etc.

 We often have a shop meeting particularly where we have a hands on demonstration and equipment available. This may include dealer or manufacturer reps.

We at times have open air type meetings at a site or yard where we may demo machines or components such as GPS or Laser systems. Our Service Truck Expo is
an example of this with many members bringing their service - lube - welding rigs etc. Often this format lends to a cookout or barbeque event as well.

Quite often we have a combo of of the type settings for a meet such as classroom or shop discussion followed by second half of all going out into yard for hands on demo etc.

All meetings are designed to further educate us all on industry pertinent information..... None are designed as a sales pitch by any vendor or product.
All meetings provide an hour or so before hand for informal networking and personal info sharing. All have a meal offered for enjoyment and comfort.
All are designed to be FUN, and EDUCATIONAL.
None are likely to leave you feeling bored or a waste of your time.
Meetings are held monthly with dinner starting at 6:00pm and meeting formal proper from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
